So, for the first time I have a bird who is trying to put on as much weight as she can. I've had her for a looooong time and this is the first winter she has done this. She is honestly eating like 20 times a day. Plus the outside birds are like twice as fat as ever before. So, I'm wondering if this is gonna be like some psycho cold snowy winter.

Oh reusable grocery bags how do I love thee.

You turn my 20 something breaking plastic bags into 2 or 3 lovely condensed bags.
Also you are reusable, so good for the environment, as well as keep me from having 500 million little broken plastic bags that never want to stay in the trashcan.

OK, I am back. Actually I’ve been back for a bit but now I’m fully back. So I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned any of this earlier but I don’t feel like going back and checking so I’ll act like I didn’t.

So a few months ago my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 3c breast cancer. Which anyone who knows about breast cancer knows that at that stage you basically have a grapefruit size lump breaking through the skin. AKA my grandmother is an idiot who know about this months before and said nothing. So she has now started on chemo and radiation ect ect, she is getting better but still most likely she’ll be dead by the end of the year.

My aunt came down…well up to TN and took my mother and I to Alabama, where most of the family on that side live. We were there about a month saw my grandmother and whatnot. A nice/stressful vacation.

So now I’m home, and my father is an even bigger ass then ever, so welcome home to me, blah.

Ok, so yes I am missing, completely and totally missing. So I am currently in Alabama, I have been a bunch of other places too. I will fill everyone in when I get home in a couple of weeks. I do have internet access now I'll hop on when I can so yeah.

Hello, My name is Lauren.

This is the start of what I hope is becoming a very big upswing in my life. Briefly lots of bad stuff happened, I was depressed, more bad stuff happened, I got put on really bad meds, I had serious heath issues, more bad stuff happened.
Now, in the past 6 months I was taken off the drug of death, which was a slow process full of painful withdrawal symptoms. Put on a new good drug, and basically feel better then I have in, well pretty much as long as I can remember.

I am now walking a mile plus, twice a day. I have a garden full of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cantaloupes, watermelons, pumpkin, eggplant, lots of greens and herbs. I have been cleaning and organizing the house as well as outside. I’ve already lost 10 lbs and that was before I started exercising.

So, basically this means I am a new, happier, healthier, not so depressed Lauren. And since I’m no longer so depressing I’m going to start posting more the random surveys here. In fact if my camera will start working I may even get picture happy, who knows. I mean, it is honestly somewhat disturbing how good I feel, and I just it’s just, you know no words. So yes I’m sharing the happy.

So, since my server has been completely screwed up in the storms that pat through. I will update you all( as in one person) on my lovely life.

About a month ago my hard disk died in my laptop, so I spent a week mailing stuff back and forth to HP. But now my computer actually functions properly so YAY!

My father has started an new “experimental” back treatment to try and get him moving about again.
My mother started some rehab again…fun, fun.

Otherwise that’s about it.

My life consists of;
-Feeding people
-Paying bills
-Taking people to and fro to places
-Laying on the couch
-Sleeping on the couch
-Using the computer on the couch
-Watching TV while using the computer on the couch

Very exciting right?

Oh, my bird also decided she needed a mate. So she’s been trying to court us all, rather amusing, minus all the biting. But she has finally calmed down, so hopefully we’re good till next spring.

So yeah, my life, very exciting.
